May Day celebrations

On Friday we had a wonderful day celebrating Great British traditions during our May Day festivities.

In the morning we...

  • Iced cupcakes with Spring decorations
  • Learned how to Morris Dance
  • Learned how to dance around the May Pole
  • Watched Reception and Nursery performing their dances
  • Had May Day challenges which we completed in our classes.
In the afternoon we:
  • Had an afternoon tea party eating our cup cakes we decorated earlier
  • Purchased lots of goodies from the Year 4 food stall
